Vasin's Shophouse Research: "Modular Aggregation and Partition"

The research in my shophouse investigation emphasizes the generation of a single modular space, that gradually builds up a significant role of dividing zones of public and private expanses. Objects, furniture, partitions and such obstacles in each module as you walk deeper into the building becomes more dense and crowded, that each shophouse possesses a different public/private zone, circulation and activity. The video displayed examines the case of an old drug store-shophouse, in which how the dense arrangement of partitions regulates the activity of the patient and doctor; sit-and-wait to be called, doctor inspects patient, doctor finds appropriate prescription, prescription received/paid, patient leaves.
