SITE OF INSTALLATION

Site is located between court ball and tiger cave where the red dash line

The color dedicate the difference meaning by yellow and violet show

 the area of ball court and tiger cave. For orange and green show the kind of situation 

that happen in each area which is short-term memory and long-term memory.

The human model show where people stand at the site. From the diagram above people 

are standing at the end of each side and their body are cross the red dash of installation 

which mean they will be inside of the installation.



SOUND PROJECTION

Sound in small space or limited space

Large Space vs. Small Space 

According from comparing diagram above, it shows that the traveling sound are better in limited area because the sound have the middle transfer which is air. If people stay in limited place the density of sound would be more than the in large space. Which the cube would keep and project sound better than the large space. The sound will not get away it will be in the limited space so we could hear louder voice and feel like the sound is surrounding us.

INTENDED EFFECT

The installation is work as a brain by having the Memory system inside which the audience could have their own experience by hearing the sound of different time and events, then use their memory to think back about those period of time which each person could get different experiences from the installation depends on the memory and their own experience that they have been through.  

CONSTRUCTION OF INSTALLATION

The materials for constructing are chan-oye, foam, and wood plank. According from this diagram the inner layer is foam which is the main structure for the installation. The reason i use foam because there is light weight and it is good when hang up with the hooker. The second layer is chan-oye with black paper. The reason why i use chan-oye because the texture of it are easy to glue black paper and paint black color with it. These would give the sense of darkness to the audience. The material for supporter is wood plank. I choose this material because it hard material and strong enough to hold the weight of the foam structure in the air.
