"Thu Tha's" research on "Nele Azevedo and Andres Amador"

Nele Azevedo

Diagram Explaining the Installation in Plan

This diagram explain how her work started of very complete, but not so long, the ice melted and started to disappear bit by bit until everything is gone even the last drop of water, just like nothing was ever there.

Andre Amador

Another example of work that does not last very long. These examples of work took a lot of time and effort but disappear very quickly. This work vanish bit by bit depending on the tide. You never know when or how much it will disappear after each tide. Another work that becomes invisible just like nothing had happened.

These two artists have inspired me the concept of "impermanence" as these types of work would be treasured and cherish highly as they won't be visible for long. People would try and absorb and take in as much as they can while the work still there, they want to be with the work until the last minute and as it disappears, it leaves an impression in their mind.
