Title site research
(I had some problems with the Prezi so i have to do the repost later)
(I apologize for the technical problems)
Title's documentation and post-analysis on Alone?!
The presentation took place in the elevator which is the site traveling from first floor to the tenth floor of the faculty several times and the installation worked as I wanted it. We've picked up some guests during the presentation Ajarn Taylor and Ajarn Parn. We were standing among the curtains where Ajarn Henrik, Ajarn B and two senior students were standing inside the curtains. Because the black cloth blocking the light to go through inside the curtain was dark Ajarn Taylor could not see who was the person underneath, but the person inside can see everything outside. That confirms the successfulness of the project. The installation was a simple installation that worked and satisfied me and the other users including both Ajarns and the senior students. Several things can be added to this installation to make it better. Im quite happy with this installation that it came out successful although there are some parts that didn't came out as expected.
Title's installation drawings: Alone?!
A drawing of the steel structure that will be holding the curtains, which will be installed in the elevator
The picture of the elevator before and after being installed with the curtains. The curtains will be black to be able to block the light in the elevator. Due to the size of the curtains that fills in the elevator the users will be forced to stand in the curtains automatically. The color of the light in the elevator will be changed as well (into red) to give a touch of more erotic feeling and to dim the light too.
How it works?
First - people will enter the elevator and into the curtains automatically. Only one person will be able to push the buttons. All the people inside the curtains cannot see each other (its harder to look into the dark than looking towards the brighter space), so that forces them to communicate.
Incase of other people entering the elevator they will have to stand in the left space provided.
Title's installation development: Alone?!
Erotic installation development
Defining the word eroticism is somehow very personal.
Eroticism can be related to many things many feelings or even actions. Sex is
one of the most common subjects that people thought about when they hear the
word erotic. Yes, sex is one of the thoughts that came into my mind, but just
sex is not enough for me to define eroticism. Erotic for me is something that
give a feeling of something unclear, pulls us into it, light in darkness. It’s
a kind of feeling that let people think further. It is like standing in a room
with very little light, looking at a shadow moving behind a curtain and
wondering what’s behind it.
After doing researches on some famous artist I found that Rirkrit Tiravanija and also Elmgreen and Dragset were likely playing with the exhibition space more than playing the art piece it's self.
To understand it easier, this diagram above is one of Rirkrit's art installation. By setting pots of food and other equipments in the exhibition space, he allows the audience to become a part of his artwork, let them be a part of the space and interact, communicate with others.
SITE ANALYSIS
The site where i decided to choose is the elevator in our faculty, the reason is because the elevator has a limited space, which is quite small and because the elevator is a public space where people use most of the time when they want to travel or move to another floor in the building. Different people will meet each other in the elevator.
Experiment to Framework
The interesting thing that caught me is, normally most of the time when riding through
the elevator people don’t react to each other unless that they know each other
well. They don’t talk to others, they don’t speak to others, everything just
turns silent until they exit the elevator. This is actually happening now in
the real world.
This conceptual diagram shows how strangers in the elevator create their own boundaries. They can't see it but they can feel it by themselves.
The main goal of my art installation is to emphasize these
situation and bring it to another level. This installation is to create a
boundary between each other person in the elevator, because we don’t interact
with other people, so there is no reason to see their faces. The installation
somehow brings back the interest of a person, the new people coming will have
the concerning feeling and they will want to communicate other people more.

PROJECT1: EROTIC ARCHITECTURE PHOTO
This picture focused on capturing the light and shadows in a corner of the building of the BACC museum. The shadows give these flat and solid walls and ceiling the feeling of curvedness and also blends the corners. The picture also captures a moment of silence.
Image of a window splashed with mud in an exhibition at the BACC. The light that comes through the dripping mud on the window gives the sense to eroticism. If we look carefully the mud creates an image of a couple making love or kissing, the woman under and the man above.
A picture from the hall way of the BACC. This picture shows the same material changing itself under light and shade. The curve lines brings us to the end of the way.
