As people walking into the shophouse,Each room provide contrast,different color or different materials.People will experimenting the space step by step.Their are things that distract and gets the people's attention which is
1.the contrast view ( when room have contrast color,walking from one to another creates the contrast of eye)
2.the material ( the material that makes people want to touch and when they touch it,its creates a feeling and thought.
these all above makes people focus,concentrate on the thing in front of them and forget about their destination.
I define experiencing the architecture as a journey and adding erotic into architecture means adding pleasure to the journey and also change the meaning of one space.The erotic ornament that I add into the shophouse distract the purpose that people have through the architecture, Make them focus on each ornament along their architectural journey rather than their destination in the shophouse.I can sum up the explanation that ornament of erotic makes people forget about their purpose or destination that they have through the architecture.Adding erotic ornament in my term is adding forms, textures, materials, contrasts and illusion into the architecture or I can say adding something that creates sense,feeling,thought and contrast which makes people turn to focus on each ornaments.This is the whole idea of what erotic in architecture is for.
