The axonometric diagram, showing different layouts and functions in the shop house. it is a diagram that contains not only forms but also transforming process in a time table diagram that will explain all 16 functions of the shop house in an easy way.

The Final Animation of this pop up restaurant shop house. The animation contains all of the information in a short story from the site until the final proposal.

PLAN's site analysis : Silom

SILOM

The first process of the site analysis is to understand the origin and the development of Silom.

These are the analysis that focused on the users and also concerned about overall circulations in the area.
All of the streets are crowded with many types of people such as workers and tourists, which forms a very special community and also creates different patterns of circulations in both short term and long term.
The site has a very special and unique functions that always changes, this Silom community always adapt themselves in order to serve all of the users no matter when.

In Silom area, we can see all types of advertising that attracts people in different ways. These advertisement not just only create a very beautiful districts that we can see today. Those beautiful patterns, colors and lights are used in order to seduce all the people walking by to visit the site.

PLAN's shophouse research : Zoning and Privacy

This animation is about zoning, privacy  and use of space within shophouses. The animation shows how the users manage their space. It shows relationship between height and privacy, and also show zoning on each floor.

The final animation was based on the research, which obtained by going to 4 different shophouses within the nearby area. After that, I combined all of the information and make it into one generic shophouses in order to understand how people manage to use the shophouse for both business and residential purposes.

The animation itself was create in a form of a diagram, simple and very straight to the point. The goal is to create an animation that is really easy for people to understand the possible features and space management of shophouses within a short duration. The animation also concern about how the structure of shophouse was use as a system to determine how to use the space on each floors and areas.

Plan's Documentation and Post-analysis on The Ocean Path

THE OCEAN PATH

The audience first experience a very dark hallway where there is only some strange light pattern projected on one side of the wall.

As they walking closer and closer they will see more lights patterns projected on the same wall.

Starting from the first step act on the rope system floor, the patterns started to change.

The audience can also interact with the installation with the shadow, they started to become a part of the art not just viewer.

The Light Box that is attached to the top of the wall keeps project the changing patterns of the movements while absorbing some of the vibration so that the mechanism is able to withstand those movement forces.

Each movement of each person causes different patterns on the walls, which creates unique experiences for all the audience.

At the end after the movements stops, the patterns will finally becomes the same as before they were activated, creating a repeated mechanism loop that will keeps projecting different images for every users.

I defined the meaning of Erotic as something that is really exciting and special, I Think of it as a hidden part of each person, an interesting pattern that is unique from others. So, I starting with the idea of an art that really interact with that the identity and uniqueness, an art that people are not just only be participated with it but be able to created it by themselves.
The Ocean Path is an erotic art that interacting with movements of people. Different movements will create different patterns and then projects it back so that the visitor and people around the area can see that special patterns from each other. The concept is to register the movements of each person and then turn that into a unique pattern that will also change the emotions and feelings of the area by  using the combinations of movements, lightings, and shadows to create a pattern. Rope system are used as a trap where all the movements such as walking, jumping and even stomping were changed into tension and vibration force that will activate all of the mechanism. Even from the softest touch on the rope system, the installation can still be able to show the result of that and how it impacts the projected image.
Since, the art transforms a simple hallway into a big screen that shows your movements in a form of unique patterns, The visitor are able to have new experience with the site, different from before when this is just only a path where people need to pass in order to go to their destinations, this forgotten path itself becomes the place where all the excitements are, it becomes an erotic hallway that contain patterns that will always changing by those visitors themselves

Plan's Installation Drawings: The Ocean Path

SITE AREA

The art installation is going to be on this long hallway in order to change this ordinary path with stunning patterns that will be projected on the wall.

The Floor: Parts of the floor area will be covered with rope systems in order for people to register their movements and activate the light projection.

The Pink Wall: This side of the wall will be used as a screen to illustrate patterns that are created by human movements combined with their shadows to create unique erotic patterns.

The White Wall: This side will be the place where all the mechanism and light sources will be set.

MECHANISM

The mechanism prototypes that create movements by using the vibration force act on strings

PATTERN PROJECTOR
Perfect Projection: In order make sure that the projected image will covered the whole floor area, calculations are needed. By using the computer simulations to simulate the best outcome, finally I have the perfect angle, dimension and distance for the projector design.

The Light Box: This box act as a pattern projector, this part will be attached to the wall, connected to the rope system. The Light Box also designed to absorb certain amount of vibration to make sure that the mechanism will not be collapse taking too much vibration.

Connections: All of the elements connects to each other and become more that just a mechanism, it becomes a network that linked every action together in order to create this art.

Plan's Installation Development: The Ocean Path

THE SITE

Site Location: The 5th Floor Hallway of The Faculty of Architecture

Light Source: The diagram shows the location of light sources around the site area.

Traffic: The diagram of traffic people that interact with the site area in a period of time between 16.00 until 20.00

Light Projection: The experiment is about how to project the Prismatic effects of water and also to project the moving patterns of the water by using lights and vibration. The experiment also studied different materials that can be used to create a more effective effects such as adding colors to the projected patterns.

CONCEPT

The concept is to register the movement of people. The installation is using
water, an ordinary liquid in order to create unique patterns causes by human
movements. Then projecting the results on the wall in order to change the
environment of the room into an erotic art. This projects let people directly interact
with the art, each movement they make will always create unique patterns.

Her video arts are mostly focused on humans and natures. Her style is
to create repeated video arts that express relaxation feelings and experiences
by combining visuals, colours, and sounds together. She wants the audiences
to spend as long as possible watching her work while relaxing at the same time.
She created many art installations by literally using the interior walls of the buildings

for the whole room.
