Ong's shophouse research: "General shophouse design"

My research shows an idea of possibilities of general shophouse design and effects of them. For example, basic construction,dimension , shophouse modular designing, the ways to expand, types of space, stairs plan and circulation, types of roof, ideas of adding more space, various styles of facade and functions. To present all these researches in a model, I would like to describe the shophouse model as a book. If you think that way, the cover would play a role as facade and elevation of shophouse. All of the informations are inside the book ,so you can get those information when you open it. Same idea as this model, you can see the structure and get information inside. Furthermore, rotating joints  are designed to let the shophouse model open like the book.
