Kamsai's Proposal: Mist Station

MAKKASAN STATION

Personally, I think Makkasan is somehow a 'weird' part of Bangkok. Many tourists come from the airport link and pass through this site to go to different parts of Bangkok through MRT. The first memorable experience was a random approach from a Japanese tourist. Almost every time I visit the site, there will always be at least one lost tourist asking for direction, which inspired me to develop this project of creating signage. There was also an Indian minimart, own by a foreigner who cannot speak Thai, and of course, he was Indian and he gave out free ice creams. When I visited the site again, the minimart was changed to Indian bar and restaurant own by another Indian guy. Moreover, there were also several cats that always stray on the same place. The empty space between the shophouses and  MRT was also filled with old cars and garbage. There were also empty gallons of water around the site, which I suspected it came from an abandoned shophouses at the site.
