Mim's proposal : The reflective facades

This project is about projections of shadows. The shadows are projected according to the stories portraying, according to the facts on site (from site analysis). The shop house is focusing on a bar called "Jazz happen" which is located across to the old palaces which is now a government building. Because of many stories described, this site was chosen because of the interesting angles the reflection will take place.

Stories:
The light reflects onto the activities in front of the bar that has children age 7-13 trying to sell flowers during the night time ( this is common in thailand). Their shadows of activity will be projected onto the unicef's wall. Claiming a point where unicef did not take action in this issue happening in front of their own home. And also, the activities happening in the bar is projected onto Organization of agriculture Asia Pacific which this was a palace. By projecting the shadows onto the old palace is to say that, with the change of time and civilization, the social has changed and has overcome the "pureness" of the royalties making them move away leaving the building behind and now the function of the palace changed into a governmental area.

(The diagram above shows the over all presentation plates)

The facades is a pattern, a modular, but each modular extrudes specifically to what it will reflects.
So this modular patterns can apply to all shophouses in which, there are three on the site.

This master axonometric shows:
-What the angle facade reflects and the direction of its reflection.
- Different extrusions
- Patterns
- Modularity of the pattern
