What is EROTICISM?
As we mention the term "eroticism", many people would think about sexually, or having affairs. But as for myself, the term "eroticism" can also describe actions, experiences, that human react to someone or something that have effects over our feelings, like we are getting aroused, as it is calling you, and deep down in your heart, you also want to follow its lead.
INSTALLATION DEVELOPMENT
From doing research on Marina Abramovic and Junya Ishigami, I found some similarities between their works, which i can adapt for my own installation.
They both use the audiences as parts of their installation by allowing them to enter the space and experience the art closely. In the same time, the persons who get into the space became the subjects to be investigated themselves.
Therefore, I came up with an idea of using reflective materials to project the audiences' reflections onto the installation.

But looking from another direction, you will be able to see only your own reflection. |
This model was made in order to experiment with reflection in diagonal functions, which allow you to play with the changing reflection while you are moving pass this model.

There are many windows on the left hand side of the hall way, which we can use to play with reflection as shadow as it is shown in the video below.
As we walk pass through the hall way, our own reflection can be seen on the windows as well.

To find out the best way to use reflective materials by making some study models and apply it under light.

Seeing this broken door, without knowing any fact, you would think that it was punched...
To play with this thought would be interesting. So I came up with this idea...

1st Idea |
This idea is to simulate the door that breaking into pieces. Its should tell a story about a guy's aggression. This door became the victim of his anger. And his sorrow should be reflected on the wall as the light will be applied on the floating pieces of reflective materials.
