To me, erotic has a very broad
meaning not only about sexual like most of people (or even I at the beginning)
think. Everyone defines the meaning of Erotic differently depends on
personality and experiences, for example I find Whispering is very sensual. It
is not only evoke me a hearing sense, but other senses and memory as well,
while others people may not feel the same way as me. To explain further,
something erotic may strongly evokes your senses at the same time also pictures
imagination in your head and feeling you have toward it.
My project seems to mainly about
hearing sense, but actually it is also about sight and touch led to childhood
memory (plus, some allurement like toys have toward kids). Since I mentioned erotic
is about senses ‘to recall your memory and feeling you have toward it’, it is pretty
similar to the meaning of ‘relationship’. Listening to each other (you and
architecture) help you to understand and improve relationship more :D
I started the project by picking the keyword, “Whispers”
and used paper cups phone as a tool to represent it
