This picture was taken at the new building in Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
At first glance it may depict a door way to the walk way,
but it is actually the lower tip of the stair case taken from below in
a position which aligns each floor together.
In an erotic sense, the way the lighting has been set was as if
the shadow was gradually approaching the side of the light,
like how a pure element was slowly tainted by the darkness.

This picture was taken at the dining room in RBSC.
Several head fans were aligned in a linear position, in a place where
air conditioners have been installed on the majority of the building.
In an erotic sense, the contrast of the usage gives out the feeling of the "past",
a secluded, old, private space in the middle of Bangkok.

This picture was taken from the outside of the passage way
between the car park to the old RBSC building.
The walkway seems to "connect" the two buildings together,
as if they have been joined.

This picture was taken from the golf field towards the building of RBSC.
At a closer look, the reflection from the green glass of the building
shows the city of Bangkok, the city that never sleeps.
Just by glancing at the building's glass, several skyscrapers
can be witnessed, from the view which is the least expected.
It was as if you could observe all the buildings without being known, in a sense of secrecy.
- This is one of the simplest but yet abstract and interesting ideas
ReplyDelete- As prelim idea was pretty clear at beginning, it was not easy to nail the right artist. Therefore, you tried to be the artist yourself, performing artworks that express the idea of tainted purity. It was very recommendable!
- Meanwhile you found a perfect artist in the end who became a main focus for the rest of your development.
- Your in depth intensive research was very impressive and passionate.
- Your perseverance in experimenting with new media and programs has produced desirable outcomes. I am really glad.
- Final installation was finely crafted. Although it lacked slightly the interactive mood. Also the tainting process could be much integrated into the existing space/room/physicality like the Sydney Opera house performance.
- Overall, you did a great job!
One more small thing - I learned that many students did not pay much attention to small details such as furniture where projector stood but it could have an overall impact on the final effect. Furniture as such could have been disguised/covered up.
