The installation is in the room 319 using the existing column as a part of an installation in order to change the site into a pitch dark walk ways or a maze.
The different oart of the space.
The intention of my space is to make the people to use their touching sense to guide their way out of my space. So by switching off the light the space would be completely dark and therefore it would force the audiences to stumble for something solid as they would feel safer near something hard or safer feeling that they are at the corner of something in a place that are completely dark. I used the fabric texture to attract the people as i wanted the people to touch them and stayed longer touching them. On the other side i used spray glue to force the audiences to move faster to get out of the site as they are sticky and people would feel unpleasant to touch something sticky and slimy.
