and much more....

Eroticism usually depends on personal preferences, it can be visual, acoustic, tactile etc. But for me, the tactile aspect is the most erotic among all because we are not always surrounded by it and it arouses us by its unusualness. Imagine watching someone naked versus being touched, the erotics in these are different but the latter, the contaction, arouses our senses much more.
Inspired by the interactivity of William Forsythe’s and Ernesto Neto’s installation arts, this tactile "trap" is designed.

This installation will resemble a kiss that one will need to feel it rather than just seeing it. It will also be a trap to lure in a "Studio Fairy" who got tired of the roughness and dirtiness of this building and has left the faculty for so long. It’s time to invite the fairy back here with a ‘kiss’.

The installation is the large fabric bag that covers the whole flight of stairs that wraps all the soft and bouncy materials such as plastic, foam balls, pillows and mattresses together, it will tick her curiosity of how the surface feels like and what unusual movements she can do with it.

Such surface manipulation aims to convince her that the space is not for stepping on as always, in other words not dirty. She’ll feel like losing balance with it or just lying on it but the installation isn’t stable enough to actually sleep on so she cannot help but roll around the huge cloth. From the observer’s point of view, this is one of the most interesting and erotic interactions ever because of the new forms of ascending and descending the stairs of the user. And as a user, the amusement of getting to feel the space in this erotic way can create yet another great memory like a kiss.
